I couldn't do my walk yesterday because it was raining cats and dogs and DS has a bad cough already so I wasn't going to chance taking him out in the awful weather. Boo hoo. Although I got plenty of exercise last night as we had a show and I was on my feet for nearly 7 hours. It's a pity I can't wear my pedometer while we're doing the shows but I reckon I would have clocked up about 20,000 steps!!
It's still raining today, i'm sick of it. Our backyard is like a swamp. Thankfully we've had a good quote to do our concreting and start getting the yard into a useable space. Hopefully they'll be able to start in a couple of weeks. I'll take before, progress and after shots for all the voyeurs out there!!
I was being good with my food until the thought of KFC's new boneless fillets came into my head and I had to go out and get some. It was fantastic, I would highly recommend it. Actually no, I wouldn't - you really don't want to know how damn good that stuff is!!
Back to work tomorrow, boo hiss, I really think I need a holiday.
DH and I just watched the Da Vinci Code. It's been so long since I read the book I had kind of forgotten what happened. I know a lot of people bagged the movie but I enjoyed it. Now I have a choice between "In Her Shoes" and "Must Love Dogs", what a hard life eh?

I really enjoyed the Da Vinci Code. I thought the movie was very much like the book. I couldn't put the book down till I finished it.
I refuse to even think about KFC! My mouth waters when I see the ad.
I'm sure your show gave you plenty of exercise.
We're finally getting some decent spring weather, so hardly saw any rain all weekend. It's great for my walking and makes the dog happy!
i love the Da Vinci Code too, i must admit there were times Tom looked a bit awkward but.... being a fan i can forgive that!
mmmm KFC, i had some KFC chips on the weekend, they were DELISH!
i love the rain... the one thing i miss about Newcastle is all the rain... my brother in law is always telling me about it, they live in Glendale and their backyard is a bit swampy sometimes too!

My sister loaned the Da Vinci code book to one of my mum's friends who returned it unread saying it was too complicated for her to follow. We laughed at her a lot.
*Drool* KFC and I actually liked the Da Vinci Code for entertainment value. It was beautifully shot.
Hey, don't you have an exercise bike you can use in front of the TV for rainy days? :-P

Finally we have some nice weather here! Today the heating is off (mostly as I did need to warm the room first thing) and the sun is shining - if I liked it outside I would surely be there

I'd go with In Her Shoes over Must Love Dogs... its actually quite good! (Once you get past all of the unncessary bodily close ups on Cameron Diaz...)
I loved the DaVinciCode too. I NEVER listen to reviews. Generally they say the opposite of what I think.
