Retraction

OK retraction from the drama queen that I turned into last night. Sorry guys. DS is much better today. I haven't had to give him any panadol yet today as his temp is a little high but not skyrocketing like it was yesterday and i'm keeping my eye on it.
Ended up having 25 points for yesterday (6 over my daily allowance) so it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Although DH came home with a box of cheezles and a packet of pods (please note that I didn't have any of them, but they are now sitting in the cupboard - open - as he ate some while watching the soccer this morning). I am tempted to throw the boxes in the garbage to get rid of the temptation but I think i'll just be strong and not have any (wish me luck!!).
If I get through today without eating any of them I deserve more than a medal.
Anyway DH would be well naffed off if I threw them out. His diet is obviously going well!! NOT!!
OK i'm off to take DS's temp again and then hopefully i'll be able to catch up on all my favourite blogs today.
Ciao for now

Hope your son is feeling better - it does get stressful when the little ones are not well!

Good on you for not eating any of the junk hubby brought home:)

It is so awful when our kids are sick. I would rather be sick myself (even now) than have them sick. I do hope your little DS is much better.

Temptating things in the cupboard are so annoying. I do wish you luck to IGNORE them.

Hope he's ok darl. Look after yourself and try not to get too stressed - easy for me to say though.

Remember, those things in the cupboard are just food. If you are actually hungry, have something healthy, and tell yourself "no, I don't want those things, I just want to eat them because I'm upset." If you keep saying that to yourself over and over, and then find something else to distract you, like hanging out the washing, or cleaning out a cupboard, or sitting down with a book, you'll be fine - and every time something like this happens you'll be that much stronger. Every time you resist these things you get closer to goal!!

Stay strong darl, thinking of you.

I shouldn't even be saying this, but there is NO WAY I would be able to resist Pods!!

That husband of yours should buy you a massive diamond, or at the very least a new outfit, for being an inconsiderate twat and bringing them home in the first place!!!

I'm so glad that DS is doing much better today. I can only imagine the fear a parent feels and the helplessness when a child is sick. It must be hard.

I would toss the pods too btw. My eating hasn't been the best lately. So yup Tossing.

Oh love, I know it's so hard when the kids are sick. I'm glad he's feeling a little bit better though. i am incredibly impressed that you didn't have any of those yummy, delectable... I mean, horrible, nasty treats that DH brought home. He's a bad, bad boy. He needs a smack.

Glad to heard that YOU are feeling a bit better today too. Turning to The Beatles/John Farnham (whichever version of that song you prefer) always cheers me up too. Stay strong, my dear. You can do it!

Glad to hear you so much cheerier. Sick kids are scary (even the teenage one who I had in hospital on morphine last night!).

Hope DS is better today. My hubby is so bad lately. He eats all night long. And its showing. I'm trying to encourage him to be good with me, but as we all know - everyone has to do it in their own time. You did good not eating cheezels and pods.
